We started dancing together in December 2002, when we both lived in Norway and danced with different partners. After making the decision to compete together, we moved to Stockholm as Rachid wanted to come back to his home country. We were living and practicing there for 3 years, we have also been travelling to London regulary for lessons , as most our teachers live there. During that time we have been working in a public school teaching pupils different dance styles from cha-cha-cha to musical and bugg.
After 3 years in Stockholm we decided to move to Gävle, Rachids home town, to work in Gefle Danssportklubb, as they needed teachers. We had a great time working there, teaching both Latin and Ballroom and our couples quickly became very succesful, going from dancing only 3 dances in C class to being top swedish couples, they have also represented Sweden at many European and World Championships.
But our aspirations to become better dancers made us take a decision to move to London to be closer to our teachers and have better practice possibilities, and so in August 2008 we left Gävle… At the moment we live and practice in London, and we travel for work to Sweden, Norway, Hong Kong etc.
Our competitive career takes us all over the world, we participate in competitions in Europe, Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Macao, USA etc..
We have been competing in amateur competitions from 2003 till 2007 and during that time we have been:
IDU World Amateur Champions
4 times undefeated Swedish Champions
2 times undefeated Nordic Champions
Dutch Open Amateur Rising Star Winners
Semi finalists in all major events like Blackpool Dance Festival, United Kingdom Championship, International Championships..
We turned Professional in January 2007 and started representing Norway and since then have been:
3 times Norwegian Champions
5th at the European Championships
8th at the World Championships

Anna was born in Moscow, she started dancing when she was 8, in a local dance school..
She became a Russian Junior Champion in 1997, after which she and her partner Denis Khadjiev won German Open Championship in 10 dance and ballroom and in November 1997 they became World Junior Champions. Dancing has always been her main passion and interest and after school she studied at the most prestigious art and dance university in moscow-Russian Academy of Theatrical Arts.
After 7 very successful years with Denis, they decided to split up, and Anna moved to dance in Norway with a new partner, the partnership which lasted 2 years and brough many good results such as Norwegian Amateur10 dance champions and runners up in Amateur Latin.
Rachid was born in Gävle and started dancing when he was 5. He didn’t enjoy dancing very much at first, his dream was to become a football player…but at the age of 15, he decided to choose dancing as his main sport, he has developed strong interest in that. He became Swedish Youth Champion when he was 15, Swedish Amateur Champion when he was 19.. He then split up with his partner as he had higher ambitions and decided to move to Norway, where he became 2 times Norwegian Champion, Nordic Champion, semi finalist at the World Championship.
Rachid and Anna arrived to Norway at the same time to dance with different partners, but after 2 years, they decided to dance together and so the adventure began…
